Jazelle School Cooking Narrative.

I feel really nervous because i’m on my own and I can see everyone else in groups. I’m looking at the other contestants and see them cooking  a lot, of different foods I’m wondering if they are thinking if they are saying in there heads I got to win.

Then I see that its getting really hard for everyone else. I can see everyone trying to do there best of their food. I am so happy I am saying in my head I’m not going to lose over and over again then it’s voting time they say may name and said I have won I am so proud of myself.

Fun Run Training

Everyday the classes in the intermediate block gets into our P.E gear. Except for one class they go to our teacher. Then line up outside and walk down to our reserve and run around the field we are training for fun run because we are trying to fund raise for our school. We have to run the whole field around to the edges of the fence.   


All of the Seniors have to run Five Kilometres and we are training by running Two Kilometres when it is the end of the term we have to do the fun run. On the fun run day our teachers will be running with us.The field is One Kilometre long so we are going to run Five Times that. The fun run is at the end of the term.

Summarise

The main character in the story is a boy called ‘Marcus’ Every girl in his school thinks he is stuck up and selfish.So he went to an old lady named Ma Scritchet. She knows what  has always happens and tells him his problem. then she goes down stairs and gets a magic lipstick that makes any girl kiss you so the next week there was a new girl that came his school her name was Jill. Marcus didn’t waste any time and walked up to Jill and asked her out on a date. Jill agreed to go to the disco with him. Marcus said “I’ll meet you there” he said that because he didn’t want to pay for her to get in the disco. After the disco Marcus walked Jill home before she went inside he went to bend to pretend that he tying his shoes and quickly puts the lipstick on and looks up while they were saying good bye Jill’s eyes went wide open Jill threw her arms around Marcus’s neck and kissed him Marcus was so surprised that he nearly  
fell of his feet. Then he got another idea he thought if he made the popular girl in the school kiss him and then all the girls would want to kiss him.

Reading Reflection Part 2.

Title: The boy who spoke dog

Author: Clay Morgan

Pages: 10-15

What happened in the story is that there was huge storm and all the sailors fell off the boat but the captain and two sailors with the boy survived the the sailors names were tou and taniti.

This story is similar to the book Conspiracy 378 because it is about a teenager his dad and mum got killed and his passed out and his uncle got shot.

EVALUATE

I think the author is a good writer because he gets great information in his story you really get a great imagination.

QUESTION

I wonder why the author chose to write about a boy who started to speak dog.

I think it might be because he saw a boy one day talking to his dog while he was walking and imagined it on a book.

VISUALISE

I think the main character looks like a little boy with a little tie and torned clothes.   

What i'm up to in math.

Today I'm going to show you and tell you what I'm up to in maths. Each day of school our class Room 19 goes on Maths Whizz or Xtra Maths. Those are to things we go on for maths so we improve with our maths. I've got two pictures for yous to see I have improved. We go on those two math websites and then we get higher and higher okay here's the pictures i think what you've been waiting for this is the two web sites and what I've improved.

Our special visitor.

Do any of yous know the black eyed peas? Well last week on Thursday the 8th our school got visited by Will.i.am. We never new at first who was coming because the teachers had to keep it a secret. They had kept it a secret because they new we would be so excited that he was coming. On the exact same day everyone walked to the hall and waited that was when we got told who was coming to our school we were so excited that he was coming. While we waited our principal got a call that he got stuck in traffic so we had to watch some funny movies we watched two movies and then he arrived.

When he arrived everyone was staring at him. Then we did some performances and then he spoke about what happened in his life and presented the Maniakalani Education Trust with $100.000.00 because he wants to see our schools improve in all our work and get a better Education. He wants our our schools to make our own apps and get other things we need for our schools. Here's a video to see what we experienced.

Cook Island Dance

Today at the school assembly some Cook Islanders came to our school to bless us with their dancing and beats. When they started everyone went quiet. Watch as the dancers came out  they started dancing while going up stairs. look at this presentation I had done.

A Special Mother

What I think is a great Quality mother is when they always love her own children even if they get taken away from her and if she get taken away from them. I think everyone loves there mother and will never hate them even if they say they do they wouldn't live with out them. My mother I love her and sometimes I say I hate her and she always knows I love her and I know she will always love me.

Reading Reflcetion

TITLE: The boy who spoke dog.

The main characters, in the story is a little, sheepdog puppy called ‘Moxie’.

She wants to be brave like the big, sheepdogs and this boy Jack he, comes from San Francisco, he lost his parents in the San Francisco, earthquake and he had been living with a, man and a women named man called Cookie women called Patty B.

This book is about some sheepdogs,  that have to make the sheep get into, a flock when some fangos that come, to eat the sheep then all the, sheepdogs got in a line shoulder to shoulder, and scared the fangos off.

What I think is going to happen is that the boy gets lost on the sheepdog island. I'm really looking forward for the next 40 minutes of reading.

PREDICT

Later in the story, I think that the boy gets lost on the sheepdog island and the sheepdogs find him and then he ends up learning how to speak dog.

What my friends say about me.

Last Term Ms Tito our class teacher and our Room 19 class did an activity, in that activity we had taped a blank paper on each others backs and, everyone else came to write something, positive but not anything  negative about them on that piece of paper.

What one person said about me was 'You are fun to talk with' when I red what that person said I couldn't read it properly because I thought it said 'You a fan to talk to' So I went to the teacher to ask her what it said and she told me.
I think that all because 'I like to talk a lot to people and how much I have fun in the holidays or sometimes what I want to do'.

Another thing someone said about me was that 'You make me happy' At first I didn't believe this person because I am A little bit mean.
I think that person said that was because 'I try to be really kind to that person but instead the person thinks I am funny to the person'.

Then one more person said something about me and it was 'Thank you for being kind' When I red I was really confused because the writing looked the same.
I think that person said that is because 'I love being kind to my friends'.

When I red all my comment I felt really happy that they wrote that and so far I wanted to know who wrote the comment.
